    Established OPTEX KOREA CO., LTD. in Korea and OPTEX SECURITY SAS in France to build the direct marketing frameworks.

    Shares was listed on Section 1 of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

    Completed New Headquarters building (Ogoto Otsu, Shiga)

    Business expansion planned by obtaining customer traffic counting and management systems technology and combining it with OPTEX's expertise in this field, leading to the acquisition of GIKEN TRASTEM CO., LTD. as a Group subsidiary.

    To grasp market needs and expand exports to Eastern Europe and Russia, OPTEX SECURITY Sp. z o.o. established in Warsaw, Poland.

    Established OPTEX TECHNOLOGIES INC. in California, USA to expand exports of products for automatic doors to the United States.

    Listed OPTEX FA CO., LTD. on the Osaka Securities Exchange's Hercules market.

    Established OPTEX (DONGGUAN) CO., LTD. in China to reinforce the cost competition power and build the marketing frameworks to the Chinese market.

    Acquired FARSIGHT SECURITY SERVICES, LTD. a Remote Video Response service provider in the UK.

  • 2008

    Acquired OPTEX TECHNOLOGIES B.V. to expand the business of automatic door sensors in Europe.

    Acquired ZENIC INC. to provide technical collaboration with image processing technology.

  • 2010

    Acquired FIBER SENSYS INC. to obtain products, technologies and distribution route of fiber - optics intrusion detection systems.

  • 2011

    Established OPTEX SECURITY, LLC in Russia as a sales office for security products.

  • 2012

    Acquired RAYTEC LIMITED to obtain and to expand products, technologies and distribution route of lighting systems for security business.

    Established OPTEX PINNACLE INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED as a joint venture company in Haryana, India to expand business and enhance customer support in newly developing countries.

    OPTEX FA CO., LTD. announced New brand "FASTUS"

    Selected to “Global Niche Top Companies Selection 100”, organized by Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).

    Positioned OPTEX (EUROPE) LTD. as EMEA HEADQUARTERS as a management office for Europe, Middle East, and Africa to promote localization of the strategy development of each area, and to expand business globally.

    Positioned OPTEX INCORPORATED as AMERICAS HEADQUARTERS as a management office for North, Central, and South America.

  • 2016

    Started consignment manufacturing in Vietnam to strengthen the global supply system.

    Acquired CCS Inc. and Gardasoft Vision Ltd. to expand the business of LED lighting for the Machine Vision industry and enhance the development of new business field.

    Established OPTEX(THAILAND) CO., LTD. in Thailand to expand the business of security and automatic door sensor segment in the Southeast Asia region.

    Acquired 100% ownership of OPTEX FA CO., LTD.

    Established new organizational structure, which consisted of a holding company, OPTEX GROUP CO., LTD., and four subsidiaries: OPTEX CO., LTD., OPTEX FA CO., LTD., CCS Inc., and O'PAL OPTEX CO., LTD.

    Acquired 100% ownership of CCS Inc.

    Acquired THREE ACE CO., LTD. to secure the internal group IT technology for IoT strategy promotion.

    Established OPTEX MFG CO., LTD. for the purpose of optimizing the whole production function in our groupp.

  • 2019

    OPTEX FA CO., LTD. acquired Tokyo Opto-Electronics Co., Ltd. to expand its lineup of non-contact, high-precision laser measurements

    Established the OPTEX Group's integrated base in Tokyo.

    Relocated the headquarters (to Nionohama, Otsu, Shiga).

    Acquired Sanritz Automation Co., Ltd., industrial computer system manufacturer, to expand solution business.

  • 2021

    Acquired the image processing inspection/measurement equipment manufacturer MITSUTEC CO., LTD., to expand Industrial Automation business domain and accelerate growth.

  • 2022

    Transitioned to the Prime Market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
