Optex Group Human Rights Policy
Introduction
The corporate philosophy of the Optex Group is “to aim to be a group of companies overflowing with
entrepreneurial spirit.” Since its establishment, we have been committed to not only complying with laws
and regulations but also to acting based on high ethical standards and recognizing the importance of
respecting human rights as a company in accordance with the “Optex Group Code of Conduct.” We recognize
that respect for human rights for all people, which is a precondition for sustainable business activities,
is part of our social responsibility. And we support internationally recognized human rights such as those
listed in the “International Bill of Human Rights” and the “ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and
Rights at Work” of the International Labor Organization.
We hereby establish the “Optex Group Human Rights Policy” and publicly announce that we will put into
practice our commitment to respect human rights.
Scope of Application
This policy applies to all executives and employees of the Optex Group (OPTEX GROUP CO., LTD. and its consolidated subsidiaries).
Compliance with Laws and Regulations
The Optex Group respects internationally recognized human rights and ensures compliance with international human rights obligations and relevant laws and regulations of the countries and regions in which we operate. We do not tolerate any form of discrimination, harassment, or any form of slavery, forced labor, or child labor. We will also provide a safe working environment, ensure minimum wages, practice responsible labor practices including proper management of working hours, and respect freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining.
Communication with Stakeholders
The Optex Group will communicate with its suppliers and business partners to ensure not only its own understanding but also their understanding and cooperation through guidelines and other means.
Process for Formulation of this Policy
This policy was resolved and approved by the Board of Directors of OPTEX GROUP CO., LTD.
